ADH Holding Vaccine Clinics in Six Locations

By Caroline Sellers

The Arkansas Department of Health will hold mass vaccination clinics in Pine Bluff and five other locations on Friday, March 12.

The clinic will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., ADH spokesman Gavin Lesnick said. Pine Bluff has administered more than 9,000 first doses of the vaccine and almost 5,000 second doses to the 16-year-or-older population, Lesnick said.

The need for the vaccine is great in Jefferson County, home to Pine Bluff, which has had 8,665 total positive cases and 162 deaths due to COVID-19, according to ADH data.

The five other mass vaccination clinics held tomorrow will be located in Marianna, Blytheville, Fordyce, Little Rock, and Mountain View, according to the ADH. For details, see
